I haven't actively listened to Metallica since 1992, but for some reason I've been watching clips of "Some Kind of Monster" lately, and I'm fascinated as well as finding myself shaking my head at the documentary.

Never bought into the mystique of Metallica 2000 completely, but I think they fight it among each other and with the phenom itself.

I know it's not quite 'on topic' for your blog, but if you ever felt like writing about it, I'd be interested in how you feel about (and while) grading papers.

yikes, hugo -- there's always at least one song, often more, on your random ten that is a favorite of mine. #1 and #9 this week.
