		<description>I wasn't around for the Meat/Porn post, so I guess I'll just comment now.

It struck me as really, &lt;i&gt;really&lt;/i&gt; odd. And then I realized the post isn't odd: I am.  In my gap year between college and law school, I worked at a &lt;a href="www.horizonsphiladelphia.com" rel="nofollow"&gt;gourmet vegan restaurant&lt;/a&gt;. I had eaten there before, and was fascinated by their approach to food. Rather than emphasizing vegan food's healthy properties, the owners viewed food as four-dimensional sculpture. Such an artistic approach prevents self-denial from being an issue.

I'm starting to wonder whether such a perspective may make veganism more palatable in the wider society.</description>
